I'm going to play loose aggressive up front and see if I can chip up.
Alice raises my big blind on the first hand. Gretchen calls. I have QKo. I reraise to 300. Flop comes 8T5. I bet. Turn Js. I go all in and he calls. I have open ended straight draw, but he has a set of jacks. River comes an 8 and he takes me out with a full house.
What can you do? He was the favorite the whole way. I basically tried to bluff him and he figured his jacks were good. Then the turn came and he knew it.
My play here was plain just dumb. I shouldn't have done that to someone who came out raising on the first hand.
